If I finally dare to sublimate myself

I wish balance and (what it is understood by) beauty could give a response to these last 10 years darkened by horror but it is impossible by definition. Balance does not work in unbalanced times same as rigidity never works when things are changing so fast.

Sophocles could not had been able of writing his tragedies based on balance and omniscient judgement without Pericles’ stability.

In turbulent times > Euripides.

In the end of times > The vision of a dark machine.

That’s why decadence has always been envisioned as an skeleton, a spine.

The dark machine as the skeleton of the Western world.

But only the Western world?

Some, trying to overcome this ‘end of times’ feeling, would like to change the vision of a dark machine by envisioning something else.

But ‘what we all understand by beauty’ has changed dramatically.

Sublimation has given way to speculation.

In a world in crisis, where religions are fighting so hard to take over every spirit, by instinct some do not dare to give themselves away. This is what crisis means: ‘there is no place I can trust enough where to release my sublimated self’.

Therefore, telegraphic connections, medium-like projections seem more efficient.

But can we talk about efficiency?

And if I finally dare to sublimate myself, where do I release my sublimation?
